Admiralty to Foreign Office.-(Received November 9.)
Admiralty, November 8, 1907. I AM commanded by my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to acquaint you, for the information of the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, that the Commander- in-chief, China, has informed the Admiralty by a telegram, dated the 4th instant, that he has ordered His Majesty's ship "Cadmus" to proceed to Canton to inquire into the circumstances of the recent piracies, and His Majesty's ship "Clio to Pakhoi to investigate the disturbances there.
